In the Wake of Rising Waters – How We Can Help the Victims of Hurricane Katrina

With the flood waters that continue to rise in some areas that were devastated by the weekend ravage of Hurricane Katrina, the need is urgent for people everywhere to assist the various groups and help bring aid and relief to victims of the monster storm.

Certainly, an important part of the healing of last December's Tsunami in Southeast Asia, was the way groups and people from all over the world sent funding for help. Below is a list of some of the main organizations involved with relief efforts for the gulf states, should our readers want to partner with them.

Of course funding is needed for these efforts, but the Red Cross is also asking for blood donations as there is now a shortage.
